Ben & Jerry's

Waw, today was THE DAY. We went to visit the Ben & Jerry's icecream factory. After we had taken the tour and we saw how icecream is made, we did get a try out icecream.



We took a lot of pictures on the colourfull places and bought the boys a nice B&J T-shirt.
Well, Shanna & Mitch, you should have been here. We'll bring you a lot of pictures but of course we can not bring you all the tastes of the icecream. We had B&J all days now and it feels so good.
We had Fishfood, coconut and almonds, we had whirled peace, we had mint chocolate, we had everything but..., we had pistachio, ... fosil , and so many more.


After that visit, we drove up the hill in Stowe and went for a quick visit to the Von Trapp Lodge. That's the house where the Von Trapp Family came to when they escaped from Austria during the war. Now it is a very famous but expensive hotel. They do have a little gift shop. You can find a lot of Austrian things there too.

In the evening we went for a long walk to Montpelier, the capital of Vermont. It is a very nice town with a lot of nice little stores. For the moment there is a exhibition going on, through the city about recycled bycicles. It's nice to watch.



We did some geocaching too and got Mary excited about it too. There are so many treasures here it is difficult to decide wich ones to search for. We try all the easy ones, and even those ones are sometimes hard to find. For more information, go to visit http://www.geocaching.com/

Wat gaat de tijd toch veel te snel! Morgen is het al weer vrijdag. Wellicht gaan we een wandeling maken in het woud achter Amy's huis. En daarna gaan we wellicht Maple syrop kopen. We zien wel wat de dag brengt. Hier nog een foto van de streek hier.
