Thank you Catherine en Christopher, Natasha and Jason

Waw, we had a great time in Midland. We arrived there on a very sunny day. The boys immediatly jumped in the swimming pool in the backyard. Me and Patriek did relax by the pool but after a while we became hot too and took a swim. Natasha's mum, Catherine wants to spoil us, she gets us drinks and meals and everything we want. We have a lot to talk about, the visit of Natasha and Linda to Bruges, to Paris, to Europe and then the life of Natasha in Perth, Australia. It's late when we finally go to bed.

The next morning it is raining, not too much, but it doesn't feel good. But we're going for a nice walk to the beach anyway. We didn't realize it was going to be a very exciting morning. When we arrived at Balm Beach, we took some pictures of the boys playing in te water. Al of a sudden, we hear a girl screaming for help. At first, we didn't know what was going on, but after a few minutes we realized that a little girl was floating away in the water and she could not come back on her own. Patriek immediatly jumped in the water to help the little girl. Waw, he was the hero of the day.

After all the exitement, we went for a nice icecream in a Belgian Chocolate store in Midland downtown at the seaside. We saw the different murals again.

We also did some shopping and went to visit the haunted village. We don't stay there too long. After that we went to the Martyr' shrine. This is a sacred place. We walk around in the church and visit the large area behind it too. The weather is spoiling our afternoon.

Afterwards we go back to the house. It's Catherines birthday today and therefore we're getting a barbeque with chicken and hot sausages. The boys love it. After that there is icecream and fruit salad. We're having a great time.

All of a sudden, the weather gets better, the sun is shining and everyone wants to be in the pool again. It's already 7 pm. but that doesn't matter. We all get into the pool with a plastic ball and are playing volleyball. Everyone is enjoying himself.

While we are enjoying a cup of coffee, we all get some nice Canadian presents! Thank you for those !!!! Well, Natasha, you must be happy with such parents !!!!

Today is monday and it is time to go. We have to say goodbye again. This is so hard. I'm trying hard not to cry but this is difficult. Patrieks makes it a short goodbye and that is good. Everyone says goodbye with a big hug and a kiss, and off we go.
